The museum contains descriptions, photos artifacts, and art collected on the island. some of the descriptions are in the English language also. This museum is open from around 8.30 am to 16.30 every day except Sunday. You can see many artifacts from Urak Lawoi culture, Thai, Chinese, and Muslim art. There are many objects and daily used things by locals from centuries and well preserved. This museum is worth visiting and needs an optional donation. The caretaker of the museum is a warm warm-hearted person who greets everyone with a smile and shows around.
This museum building spread in 150 sq feet area consists of 6 rooms showing different artifacts and cultures. The first room is filled with old books, maps, photos, and documents collected by the government through the years. The second room consists of the chairman’s room consists of all the things and gadgets used by officers. This includes chairs, tables, typewriters books, and pens. In this room, you can observe and experience how officers used to work and maintain their work in the past.
The third room consists of artifacts and utensils used by locals in the past. These rooms are one after another and a very pleasant experience to observe the way of life from the old days. There is also art present in the museum such as wooden objects which show the appreciation of locals toward the sea.

Rattana Waterpark Lanta Thailand
This is one of the fun and best places to enjoy with family. Rattana Waterpark is located in Rattana Resort Koh Lanta Noi. You might feel this area is far from other tourist destinations such as Saladan. This is a fun way to cool down the heat during summer and a safe place for kids to swim. Most rides are small and water activities such as inflated balloons are meant for kids and younger people. There are fees of around 150 baht per person to enter the waterpark and tickets can be purchased online also.
This place doesn’t have that much crowd and the waterpark feels relaxing.
Klong Chak Waterfall and Cave Lanta Thailand

If you have any ride then you have to pay 40 baht additional as parking fees and if you want to take a guide for a tour then you need to pay an additional 100 bhat.

The walk is around 30 minutes from the entrance of the national park to the waterfall.

This is not considered a hike as the path is simple but we don’t recommend taking small kids to the waterfall. Make sure to visit the waterfall during the rainy season as during summer.

The Baan Thung Yi Paeng is one of the popular natural forests and is located in Koh Lanta Yai. You can reach this village by going from Saladan to the old town. This is a very old Muslim community village and the name is given after To Thung Yee Paeng who was one the first community builders for Muslims on this island. The village is filled with natural mangrove forests with beautiful clean water.
